The largest Polish private energy trader UNIMOT has become a partner of the Petroleum Ukraine. Warsaw`25 conference. This was reported by “A-95 Consulting Group”, the organizer of the event.
The message notes that UNIMOT has been providing strong support to the forum since 2022, when the first Fuel for Ukraine event was held. “Cooperation with UNIMOT is much more than just sponsorship. The company’s management takes an active part in shaping the philosophy, the program itself and the pool of forum participants, as it is involved in many areas of the functioning of the energy sector in Poland, the EU, and the USA. It also demonstrates awareness of international relations issues, which are extremely important today,” says Artem Kuyun, co-founder of “A-95”.
According to his words, the experience of UNIMOT is valuable precisely because the group’s activities have covered various areas of energy from fossil fuel trading to renewable energy sources already long ago: “What oil trading companies in Ukraine have just started to do, the Polish holding has been implementing for a long time, and this gives it a comprehensive vision of the state’s energy security.”
It is planned that the UNIMOT delegation will traditionally be headed by Adam Sikorsky, the founder and CEO of the group. “The development of the economy and energy in particular does not always move as economists and politicians predicted or wanted. The war in Ukraine showed how quickly the relevance of today’s theory of European energy security can be lost and what adaptability, speed of decision-making. Exchange of experience is the main goal of the Warsaw Petroleum Ukraine forums,” says A. Sikorsky.
UNIMOT is preparing a report on the aspects of the development of European energy independence in particular. “The world is continuing to rethink previously adopted courses. In the USA they are already loudly saying that the emergency refusal from fossil fuels is wrong and in Europe we increasingly hear that the real progress of the “green transition” as of 2025 is far from what it looked like at the planning stage. The change in global thinking will significantly affect Ukraine: this is the pace of electromobilization, and the prices of petroleum products, and the rethinking of the role of fossil fuels. Therefore, I am sure that our audience will be interested in joining the discussion of this topic,” – noted A. Kuyun.
In addition, it is expected that UNIMOT will present the group’s development strategy on the Ukrainian petroleum products market in logistics and trading in particular.
