Diversification of supplies to Eastern Europe and in particular Poland will be the topic of a separate Fuel for Ukraine conference panel. This was announced by the conference organizer company “Consulting Group A-95”.

The speech of Robert Stepien from the SHV Group, one of the largest LPG suppliers in the world, is devoted to the prospects of the Eastern European liquefied gas market. “Poland’s market is highly dependent on Russian liquefied natural gas, therefore Europe’s energy policy to Russian resources poses serious challenges,” said the SHV S&RM manager.

Dariusz Cichocki, President of 3 Seas Energy, and Adam Sikorski, President of the Management Board of UNIMOT Group will jointly present their vision of establishing petroleum products supply to Poland in particularly from USA. According to Mr. Sikorski, the surge in demand from Ukraine poses a challenge for Poland to increase supplies and diversify sources of imports. “The situation requires us to plan major infrastructure projects in advance, in which all parties should be involved: suppliers to ports, transit countries and end-customers,” the Head of UNIMOT claimed.

In addition to the reports, the session includes a discussion, which is also attended by representatives of PERN, the International Energy Agency and the Department of Energy of the US Embassy in Warsaw.14:45
